Senior Project Manager

The Project Manager (RPM) works with stakeholders to examine the unique needs and concerns of the Project to develop best practices for reporting. RPM works on identification of multiple systems for data, documentation, tracking and appropriate repository options, including short and long- term reporting initiatives.

Requirements

Time is spent on several major functions on a rotating basis:

• In collaboration with the HIX Systems Integrator, interpret data, analyze results and generate ad hoc/recurring reports to support strategic, operational, and financial decision making

Deliverable: Business Reporting/Best Practices

• Work with stakeholders to assure that systems are being used appropriately and in a consistent manner/approach across the Project.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify technical and scalability issues that impact reporting, as well as to propose and develop upgrades to enhance efficiency as business needs change.
• Lead discussions related to the Daily Data Extracts, short term custom reporting and long-term initiatives.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure that scheduled and ad-hoc reports are still relevant (to be retired if not) and are being used appropriately and in a consistent manner/approach.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure that scheduled/ad-hoc report development is carried out using standard SDLC practices.

Deliverable: Data Governance Management

• Work as the Co-Lead of the Data Governance Council.
• Engage with business stakeholders and the Data Governance Steering Committee to identify issues and solutions to the program data governance needs.

Deliverable: Project plan for Reporting solutions implementation

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

Deliverable: Workaround Management

• Work with business and vendor resources to track and implement workarounds, data corrections, data migrations and batch exclusions.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

People who will be successful in this position are those who possess:

• Bachelor's degree with 4 - 6 years of project experience, preferably within a complex IT environment. Prior experience in healthcare/government and health insurance exchange highly desirable.
