Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform project/program management activities for a large number of projects in the energy sector.
- Manage budgets, cost control, and invoicing oversight for the projects.
- Manage and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent software.
- Participate in proposal writing efforts to support business development efforts.
- Complete high-quality deliverables on-time within project scope-of-work and budgeted hours.
- Work with multidisciplinary team of geologists, engineers, budget specialists, and administrative assistants to deliver successful projects.
- Mentor junior staff in practice of engineering and project management.
- Provide customer support and maintain strategic client relationships.
- Work closely with the Procurement Team to lead procurement management plans for large projects.
- Develop business plans for different components of the hydrogen economy.
- Work closely with other business areas (Transportation, Water and Environment) to support the usage of hydrogen in different sectors.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil, Mechanical or Process Engineering or equivalent engineering field.
- 10-20 years of experience working in relevant sectors
- Previously management or leadership experience
- Specific work experience in project management, preferably in the Energy sector.
- Specific work experience in preparing large, complex proposal involving engineering, construction activities and commissioning.
- Previous experience managing procurement plans for EPC or EPCM contracts.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

- This role is subject to a client mandated drug/alcohol testing policy. As such, employee may be subject to random drug/alcohol tests. A copy of the client mandated drug/alcohol testing policy will be provided during employee onboarding and is available upon applicant request. " should be included as a basic qualification.
- Must successfully complete and pass WSP's Motor Vehicle screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Sustainability or Environmental studies
- Previous experience in the Energy sector and with hydrogen related projects.
- Previous experience in business operations and analytics
