What we need:

Mohawk produces some of the most innovative flooring products on the market and we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to plan and implement multiple complex projects to meet requirements that fall within scope, budget, and timeline. The Senior Project Manager will work directly with product and marketing leadership along with cross functional teams to develop and execute project plans and coordinate activities that ensure goals or project objectives are accomplished.

What you'll do:

• Lead overall planning, directing, and coordinating pertaining to strategic and highly complex product launch projects for the business unit.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of product launch projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed timeframe and funding parameters.
• Develop and manage cross-functional, time-bound, and actionable project plans to be shared with project teams as well as leadership.
• Meet with cross functional teams on project briefs, document specific requirements, establish ownership and build project timelines.
• Provide cost estimates for project budgets when necessary.
• Monitor and provide regular communication updates to project owners, sponsors, and key stakeholders on project progress, analyze project performance, and ensure the successful completion of defined deliverables.

What you have:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related discipline (preferred).
• PMP certification a plus.
• 3-5 years of job specific work experience with demonstrated professional growth and achievement.
• Experience with process improvement, problem solving and a thorough understanding of project management principles.

• Self-starter with ability to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring project quality, and managing project scope to meet deadlines.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing the activities of the group and meeting deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
• Problem solving, including identifying alternative solutions, projecting consequences of proposed actions and implementing recommendations in support of goals.
• Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team, with strong personal organization, poise and professionalism.
• Achieving results through team efforts, challenging established practices and drawing relevant conclusions.
• Fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries by inspiring, developing and engaging a high-performance team.

What else?

• Our office is located in Calhoun, GA and we offer 2 remote days. Ability to work in the Atlanta (Battery) office 1 day a week.
• Will lead large project teams and might have indirect reports.
