Who You Are:
You are a self-directed, highly motivated, and experienced senior professional who seamlessly oversees multiple projects, and internal initiatives. It is easy for you to develop professional working relationships and you are comfortable interacting with peers and customers at all levels within an organization. You have worked closely with project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to successfully complete deliverables and coordinate the resources needed to meet expectations. You are an exceptional communicator with experience in planning for and achieving challenging deadlines, assessing, and mitigating project risks, and proactively resolving unexpected issues.
What You'll Do:
Senior Project Managers (Sr. PM) at SailPoint begin with a structured onboarding and mentorship program to orient themselves with our SaaS and/or Software delivery and models. Within 1-2 months, you will begin to lead customer projects by preparing project plans, meeting with internal teams and customers on a weekly basis, tracking progress and deliverable completion, maintaining project status, forecasting, budget reporting, and documenting project risks and issues. After 6 months, you will have demonstrated a strong understanding of our delivery methodology and led significant PM duties for small-medium projects, e.g., hosting project kickoffs, weekly meetings and maintained project budgets, timelines, milestones, and risk management. Within 1 year, you will be expected to manage all project management duties for various project types and complexity resulting in a self-sustaining project management portfolio.
Responsibilities:
  • Execute project management duties for the SaaS Acceleration team (and other PS) customer engagements where needed.
  • Manage project stakeholders and customer expectations, ensuring customer concerns, risks, and requirements are anticipated, documented, and resolved proactively.
  • Create and consistently update comprehensive project documentation (project plans, weekly status and budget reports, and risks and issues logs) in appropriate repositories.
  • Assist engagement managers with maintaining project scope and address any change order needs promptly, as applicable.
  • Provide accurate updates on project progress to customers and SailPoint management.
  • Work with senior leadership to evaluate existing processes and propose solutions where applicable to help the team scale and perform at a higher level.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of professional work experience as part of a Software, SaaS, or consulting company, including 5+ years of formal project manager experience.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Experience working with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with essential project management duties (project planning, managing budgets, monitoring project scope, owning stakeholder communication, and risk management)
  • Experience managing projects across multiple teams and geographies to ensure projects are delivered to specification, on-time, and within budget.

Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus, or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Travel: Up to 15%
