Senior Project Manager

Description

If you are a project management professional looking for a challenging, high visibility in-house project job, Tyler Technologies is offering an Senior IT Project Manager role as part of our IT business transformation team. This position handles the largest, most complex enterprise-wide projects within Tyler Technologies IT portfolio. Initially, you will lead additional phases of our implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (MS D365) Finance & Operations and future phases of our corporate performance management (CPM) system.

Responsibilities

• Daily project management for major business transformation project from current ERP to MS D365 and and additional CPM phases
• Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
• Proactively communicate with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones
• Track project milestones, deliverables, project costs, project budget, and manage monthly invoice process
• Oversee and manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plan
• Develop and provide executive-level presentations to IT governance bodies to include status updates, decision briefs, and planning recommendations

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years' direct work experience in an IT project management capacity, including all aspects of project initiation, planning, development, risk and budget management, execution and delivery
• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline or comparable work experience.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise ERP/financial applications
• Experience managing multiple large, complex, enterprise-wide projects
• Experience managing software related projects in Agile and Waterfall environments
• Experience with enterprise applications, such as CRM, ERP, and DevOps tools
• Familiarity with communication and collaboration tools such as Microsoft O365,
• Experience with project management tools like MS Project, JIRA and Confluence
• Project management certification preferred
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve conflict
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
