Senior Project Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager in Brazil.

This role is centered on leading complex, high-impact initiatives within a fast-paced, data-driven environment supporting large-scale financial operations. You will be responsible for driving end-to-end project delivery while actively engaging in the execution details, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and operational delivery. Working closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, you will coordinate planning, execution, and performance tracking across multiple workstreams. The position requires a strong balance between strategic oversight and hands-on involvement in day-to-day project activities. You will play a key role in improving processes, managing risks, and ensuring delivery excellence in an agile environment. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on critical business functions and executive-level reporting.

• Lead strategic, tactical, and operational planning for large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects, including scope, timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive project plans covering schedule, budget, quality, risk, and change management.
• Oversee project execution while actively managing risks, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Establish and maintain structured processes for intake, prioritization, and management of engineering tasks and project deliverables.
• Monitor project financials, track variances, and manage change control processes effectively.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder reviews, ensuring clear communication, documentation, and follow-up actions.
• Define, implement, and continuously improve project management methodologies, tools, and performance tracking systems.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from initiation to delivery.
• Strong experience working in Agile environments, ideally across multiple projects or portfolios.
• Advanced proficiency with Jira and other project management tools.
• Solid understanding of project planning, risk management, budgeting, and change control processes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience communicating at executive level.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and align cross-functional teams toward delivery goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic SQL knowledge and familiarity with accounting or financial concepts is a strong plus.
• Professional-level English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Must be based in Brazil and available to work aligned with US Pacific Time hours.
