If collaborating with others to solve big problems and managing the 4 pillars of project management (Scope, Time, Cost, & Quality) for multiple projects running in parallel in the fast-paced world of mobile game development sounds appealing, you might be exactly who we are looking for, and we might have the exact role you’ve been searching for.


With this role, we are looking for someone who has managed teams of various sizes, with varying skill sets. Someone who is experienced with all phases of development from the concept of an idea, through its release and support strategy. As part of a central process management group, you will be expected to showcase your talents in the areas of project management, process management, methodology management, and production data analysis. This role will be part of our Bingo Showdown game team and report to the Director of Monetization. 


Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

· Fosters a culture of collaboration and Teamwork. Gets to healthy conflict by building trust through focusing on relationships

· Owns all aspects of Stakeholder Management from identification, analysis, and managing expectations

· Drives change management at the Team level. Asking questions rather than giving answers to level up the Team to solve their own process or tooling challenges and utilizes a variety of techniques to assist the team in problem solving

· Be the subject matter expert (SME) and Team coach with different development Methodologies as well as Project Management skills

· Ensures all aspects of Team development from the first action in the concept phase through the final action in post release are identified and properly documented. Making sure the actions, roles, and responsibilities are understood by the Team in terms of what needs to be done, by who, and when for operations to run as expected

· Identify areas for improvement for team efficiency, performance, and quality based on production data analysis to be able to propose corrective actions

· Utilizing your deep understanding of JIRA, build projects, boards, workflows, and issues to facilitate communication, strengthen the process, and properly capture the information needed for operational analysis while keeping the overhead of managing tools to a minimum

· Provide proper risk assessment and suggest mitigation strategies accordingly and assist with any necessary follow through on identified action items

· Ensure Team documentation is sufficient and identify ways where standardization across Teams will provide appropriate benefits

· Perform Team retrospectives or Postmortems as needed. Included with these will be root cause analysis, corrective action analysis, and cost benefit analysis

· Provides various visuals/tools to track the portfolio of projects a team is currently working on, or will be working on in the future including Road Maps/Gantt Charts, Dependency Map, Project Burndowns, etc.

· Tracks trending data for team capacity. Utilizes various techniques to make sure team is working as effectively as possible while maintaining a healthy work/life balance

Requirements

Qualifications:

· 5+ years product management experience working with or leading cross-functional teams of various sizes 

· 5+ years in IT or video game development (Mobile is a plus)

· Experience working with or for a Project Management Organization (PMO) preferred

· Education requirement: University degree Bachelor’s or equivalent professional experience 

· Demonstrate a high level of written and verbal communication across all levels and organizations

· Experience in various project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile 

· CSM Certification is required

· PMI or Six Sigma certifications are preferred

· Must have a passion for building and growing relationships. A great communicator who understands the value of the right type of communication, at the right time, with the right medium

· Believes in people over process. A Servant Leader with a high level of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) who likes the spotlight to shine on others when credit is due, rather than themselves

· Comfortable with change and change management. Enjoys turning chaos into order or structure

· A great eye for spotting process or tooling problems, but realizes the real skill is going through the steps to actually solve the problem

· The ability to navigate and influence within a matrix organization or structure

· Highly skilled at stakeholder management focusing on the needs of the customers, whether the customer is an Executive or a Game Team member

· Demonstrates a high level of written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable speaking in front of audiences of 1, to 101, and beyond

· Must be passionate about continuous learning. What’s the latest book you are reading? Is it about process or leadership? If the answer is yes, you’d fit right in

· Self-motivator who would rather provide their thoughts on what the next step should be, rather than be told what it is

· Challenges the status quo. A highly effective team doesn’t get there by saying it’s okay, to be okay

· Understands process methodologies are simply tools used to help in solving problems

· Recognizes the need and value to use data to assist in making production related decisions
