As an experienced Technical Project Manager, you will lead the fme team on one or more assigned projects to deliver work within the schedule and budget described in the agreed project Statement of Work (SoW). The Project Manager will follow fme Quality Management System (QMS) processes with regard to internal and external reporting pertaining to measuring project financial health, client, and team satisfaction. The role will require the day-to-day management of selected high-profile projects for key clients.

Additionally, in the role as a Senior Technical Project Manager, we are looking for someone who has a high level of technical understanding as well as good organization, leadership and communication skills.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Leads and provides direction and guidance for a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that all assigned projects are completed on time, within budget and to client specifications. This includes leading client-facing meetings with technical lead support.
• Manages and oversees the end-to-end project management activities for assigned projects including but not limited to project status reporting (including financial KPIs), project planning, issue / risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client and contractor management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation for projects of high business complexity (involving multiple systems interfaces that are highly visible to the organization)
• Presents periodic project status presentations to the C-suite and PMO.
• Assigns and oversees the daily tasks of the assigned technical personnel while ensuring all consultants are actively working toward established milestones.
• Holds regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
• Provides feedback to the technical team as it aligns to technical challenges to address impact to project timeline and be able to accurately relay this information to the client and involve management when necessary.
• Defines and manages the lifecycle from project initiation through to program closure.
• Manages and resolves risks, issues and dependencies, making appropriate use of communication channels and escalation levels.
• Adheres to the ISO 9001: Quality Management standard and processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Technical Project Manager in the Life Sciences industry.
• Experience with Business Solution deployments leveraging Enterprise Content Services platforms for clients in the Life Sciences Industry.
• Consulting experience REQUIRED.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Life Science industry experience REQUIRED.
• Previous Documentum/Generis/Veeva/IT and or Migration Project experience REQUIRED
• Excellent interpersonal/communication/presentation skills
• Independent thinker/worker but collaborative with team, leadership and clients
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
