Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager, IT drives enterprise projects to completion while defining and controlling the scope, schedule, budget, and other project variables. You will lead teams of people to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget while satisfying agreed-upon customer requirements and specifications!

Job Responsibilities

• Leads a project team that develops, designs, and installs new enterprise applications, IT technical architecture, and infrastructure systems or improvements to existing systems.
• Establishes and maintains project timelines that include results, identified achievements and tasks, resource assignments, and time allocations.
• Provides analysis and feasibility studies to establish project goals, arrange timelines/schedules, and develop project plans.
• Proficiency in financial forecasts and conducting reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures.
• Assesses project performance and implements changes as required to ensure the projects remain within specified cost, schedule, and scope while meeting quality objectives.
• Mentors and informs other IT resources and project managers on project management methodologies and practices.
• Functions as an authority liaison between IT and the Business Client, and acts as the go-to person representing the entire project from the planning through the deployment.

Key Skills

• Understanding of project management principles, Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Interpersonal, and presentation skills to facilitate team efforts, deliver mentorship, and direction to team members
• Accountable for governance, oversight, improvement, and promotion of our IT Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Leadership accountability for projects that build a new application or introduces new technology

Qualifications

Education & Years of Experience

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5-7 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 9-11 years of work experience

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred)
• Certified Scrum Professional - Scrum Master (Preferred)

Additional Experience

• Leading one or more moderately sophisticated IT projects
• Running system integrators, handling Request For Proposals (RFP), and developing business cases
• Planning, coordinating, and advising the installation efforts of company and subcontractor personnel
• Experience with enterprise-level programs or projects (Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Electronic Health Record (EHR), and cross-functional implementations)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
• Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Pay Rate

$113,500 - $134,500 Salary

Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
