About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
- Deliver global, regional or functional project management support to the clients' agreed specification and quality parameters, on time, within budget to successfully execute on business strategies
- Define project success criteria, collects and analyzes relevant metrics and communicates this to relevant partners, leaders and other involved parties throughout project lifecycle
- Meet monthly with broader team to review risk management practices and drives continuous improvement across the organization to improve practices to be in line with leading industry practice
- Initiate and lead risk management effort and ensure risk activities are consistently integrated into Workstream / Business Process and delivery team ways of working
- Ensure the Program has in place the appropriate systems, practices and procedures to promote a culture of efficient, effective and timely risk and issue management
- Develop standard methodologies, techniques, and tools for project planning, execution, project management, ongoing milestone/deliverable tracking, communication, and key performance metrics
- Provide PM subject matter expertise and support for large and/or complex projects across all lines of customer segments
About You
You're a fit for the Senior Project Manager if you have:
- Master's Degree or 10+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years Project Management experience within the Medicaid and healthcare, unemployment insurance industry, or SNAP
- Working experience with Agile Delivery (Scrum experience preferred) and knows how to define how the scope, goals, and deliverables of projects should support business goals, in collaboration with partners
- Hands-on experience with PMO tools, agile methods & demand planning
- Excellent client relationship management skills including influencing and establishing links with a wide range of partners including senior management
- Experience in project planning and management skills with working understanding of project management methodology, software as well as resource allocation and budgeting
- Working understanding of Software and Services or Management Information Systems
- Experience project leading cross-functional, remote and virtual project teams in a matrix organization and handle projects
- Ability to travel as required

- Ability to lead and handle within a virtual team
- Ability to build trusted relationships with key partners by seeing their angles and issues and works toward mutual solutions
- Ability to effectively address and resolve conflict within and across teams
- Strong presentation skills and ability to influence and negotiate authoritatively
- A strong communicator with the ability to pull out and summarize information and tailor communication style and content for a variety of audiences
- Appropriate and confident presenting to executives

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following (New York City, San Francisco, Culver City). The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $105,500 - $195,900. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states (CA, CO, CT, NV, WA) and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $95,900 - $178,100. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
