Senior Project Manager
Job Description
A snapshot of what you would do:
The Senior Project Manager position is in our apexportal Solutions group, which implements and supports APEX software for our clients. Our apexportal Solutions leverage the latest in cognitive computing and our massive proprietary database of scored supplier records to recover and prevent overpayments, improve processes, ensure compliant supplier relationships, and optimize working capital. Estimated international travel for the role will be ~25-30%
Specific Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate deep understanding of clients' business challenges.
- Lead implementation projects, ensuring delivery of high quality software solutions within constraints of time and budget.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with installed clients, oversees support projects for those clients. Working mostly in USA Eastern hours.
- Identify opportunities and secures new and incremental business on assigned accounts.
- Plan and support new business development for assigned accounts.
- Participate in achieving department sales quota through upselling of software and services to installed clients.
- Create and manage contracts and SOWs.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of supplier onboarding, dynamic discounting, supply chain financing, and e-invoicing solutions required
- Software implementation experience
- Good understanding of Accounts Payable & procurement principles, including Accounts Payable best practices
- Ability to interact credibly with technical & LOB professionals as well as senior executives through the CIO, CEO level
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to build rapport with team members and clients
- Excellent customer communication skills with the ability to be an active listener
- Strong communication internally and externally
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Professional demeanor / presence
- Ability and willingness to travel ~25-30%.
Education Levels/Credentials (Degree types and Emphasis):
- Bachelor's degree in any subject
- IOFM Certification/PMP Certification or combination of certifications and experience

Physical Work Environment:
- Work from our corporate headquarters in Greensboro, NC
- 20% travel to client sites, or additional as needed, usually within continental United Status
