This position will support a Department of Energy office. The mission of this office is to provide centralized infrastructure planning processes; real estate services; program management for operations of facilities, maintenance, recapitalization, disposition, and line-item construction and perform project and contract management of line-item construction and major items of equipment. 
This position is remote, with the expectation that candidates can work during Eastern Time Zone office hours. Residency in the United States is a mandatory requirement.

Responsibilities 

• Plans and designs projects.
• Develops or directs the development of findings, draws conclusions, and develops recommendations.
• Prepares and presents reports.
• Conducts large projects and is responsible for meeting goals within time and cost constraints.
• The analysis of management operations and development of options for process improvements, procedure development and project controls.
• The development and finalization of presentations and documentation to support internal activities such as project meeting content, meeting notes, standing meetings, agendas, etc. 
• Data collection and maintenance for use in tracking the progress and performance of programs. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Government, or related field.
• 8 years of project management experience required.
• Advanced level understanding of Microsoft office suite and other project management tools.
• DoD or DOE experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a federal background check and drug screen.
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
• This position is remote, with the expectation that candidates can work during Eastern Time Zone office hours. Residency in the United States is a mandatory requirement.
• Ability to travel occasionally to Washington, DC is required.
