At Spectrum, our team of Project Managers are engineered to be expert facilitators in the delivery of quality omni-channel work. We help to assemble interwoven teams through our proprietary workflow and foster thoughtful planning, collaboration, ingenuity and optimal outcomes that deliver atomic work for our clients.

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager with a fondness for detail, an appreciation for process, and some swagger to boot. This candidate will be entrepreneurial at their core, comfortable navigating ambiguity, able to work on various types of creative, digital, and social media programs simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a team player with a deep drive to successfully deliver diverse and innovative programs.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages $2MM-$5MM medium-to-high complexity programs from start-to-finish across a range of multi-channel program engagements
  • Develops accurate and comprehensive estimates, project plans, SOWs, and change orders
  • Build and maintain project schedules and work assignments in web-based project management software, including weekly and monthly resource projections
  • Identifies internal/external resource needs, and acts as steward for them throughout engagement
  • Key day-to-day contact with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Liaises with account counterparts in the management of lower to mid-level clients
  • Cultivates positive relationships with internal / external partners to ensure optimal delivery
  • Maintains high-performing team dynamics through empathy, trust, communication, and collaboration
  • Clearly communicates prioritized daily tasks and manages prioritization conflicts appropriately
  • Manages financial aspects of programs and is accountable for delivering projects within budget
  • Monitors program resource hours on weekly basis and proactively escalates when overages may arise
  • Partners with account leads in accurately forecasting staff utilization and revenue recognition

 

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-8 years agency experience, specifically within healthcare communications, digital and/or creative realm
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, fast learner, organized
  • Experience managing digital projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with resource management preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly collaborative and solution-oriented with a flexible mindset that can adapt to changing client needs

The anticipated salary range for this position will be $75K-$110K. Salary is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Spectrum reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time.

You choose where you work. We are a hybrid work environment with options to work in one of our four offices (Washington, DC, New York, Chicago, and Atlanta), remotely anywhere in the United States, or a combination.
