Sora Union is looking for a strong Capital Markets Project Manager with financial and compliance expertise to join the team of our client. You will be engaged in multiple projects across risk and control, target operating model  process improvement and regulatory change.

YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• As a Senior Capital Markets Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will involve overseeing the successful execution of one or more projects. This includes managing milestones, budgets, and project artifacts in alignment with the chosen project methodology. You will collaborate with the Project Sponsor to ensure that the project's business case and cost-benefit analysis align with the organization's objectives as outlined in the project initiation documents.
• Identifying all relevant stakeholders and involving them in scope definition activities will be essential, and you will communicate the project schedule and key milestones to ensure everyone is well-informed. If any project risks arise, you will escalate them to the Project Director or Project Sponsor as appropriate.
• Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring vendor performance and taking necessary actions to address any performance issues that may arise. Your role will require sophisticated analysis and creative problem-solving to drive innovative solutions.
• Operating with a level of independence, you will have the autonomy to influence strategic functional decisions by providing expert advice and counsel. As a subject matter expert, you will interact with senior stakeholders and team members, sharing your knowledge and insights.
• Throughout your work, you will need to assess and manage risks, demonstrating a strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Upholding ethical standards, you will safeguard the reputation of the organization, its clients, and assets. Transparency is vital, and any control issues should be promptly escalated, managed, and reported.
• In summary, your role as a Senior Capital Market Project Manager will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of projects, driving business objectives, and fostering a compliant and ethical work environment.

IDEALLY, YOU'LL HAVE:

• 7+ years of experience in project management in financial services
• Experience in interactions with different stakeholders - PM, PMO, Business Analysts 
• Experience with different business / financial practices, policies, and processes 
• Ability to work under pressure and with minor supervision 
• Ability to provide Expert evaluation of the processes and guide the project through a financial transformation accordingly to laws and regulations
• Excellent client management skills
• Strong leadership and communications skills
