Senior Project Manager, Customer Engagement - 2794424

The individual selected for this role will be responsible for integrating and coordinating activities to engage customers to understand their mission and operations, identify resulting IT needs, and oversee the IT projects through the lifecycle of the project.

US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal government security clearance are required for this position.

This is a hybrid position requiring 1-2 days on-site at our customer facility weekly. The selected individual must be located within a commutable distance of Washington, D.C.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate stakeholder working sessions focused on making sound data-driven IT investment decisions that are consistent with established strategic goals.
• Understand customer perspectives and viewpoints, to resolve and strengthen relationships between ACF Tech and customers
• Lead cross-functional teams, managing new IT requests through the governance process
• Analyze and establish system information requirements in support of new IT requests
• Assist others with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for improvements, optimization, and development, in the following specialties: information systems, networking; telecommunications, automation; communications protocols, risk management, software; lifecycle management, and software development methodologies.
• Provide daily supervision and direction to staff.
• Manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer's organization. customer and contractor
• Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs, and contractual obligations.
• Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show the progress of projects to management and customers.
• Organize and assign responsibilities to team members

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• A minimum of eight (8) years of overall work experience
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Demonstrate an outstanding level of professionalism in providing client support, including the ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
• Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
• Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
• Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Current PMP certification

EDUCATION:

• B.S. in Information Management Systems, Business, or equivalent experience required
