Senior Project Manager, Customer Engagement - 2794424
Job Description
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal government security clearance are required for this position.
This is a hybrid position requiring 1-2 days on-site at our customer facility weekly. The selected individual must be located within a commutable distance of Washington, D.C.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate stakeholder working sessions focused on making sound data-driven IT investment decisions that are consistent with established strategic goals.
- Understand customer perspectives and viewpoints, to resolve and strengthen relationships between ACF Tech and customers
- Lead cross-functional teams, managing new IT requests through the governance process
- Analyze and establish system information requirements in support of new IT requests
- Assist others with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for improvements, optimization, and development, in the following specialties: information systems, networking; telecommunications, automation; communications protocols, risk management, software; lifecycle management, and software development methodologies.
- Provide daily supervision and direction to staff.
- Manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer's organization. customer and contractor
- Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs, and contractual obligations.
- Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show the progress of projects to management and customers.
- Organize and assign responsibilities to team members
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- A minimum of eight (8) years of overall work experience
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Demonstrate an outstanding level of professionalism in providing client support, including the ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
- Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
- Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
- Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Current PMP certification
EDUCATION:
- B.S. in Information Management Systems, Business, or equivalent experience required
