Senior Project Manager - Financial Technology Solutions and Payments
Job Description
Euronet seeks to employ a Senior Project Manager to manage and oversee complex projects within the financial services sector.
The successful candidate will be part of a multinational team, based in our Athens offices and contribute to the successful delivery of innovative financial solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- End to end project management of complex projects in the financial services field across Europe and the US.
- Lead, manage and direct project teams on deliverables for business restructuring and contract drafting initiatives.
- Develop project plans that display milestones, monitor progress, and conduct regular project reviews.
- Organize, lead Steering Committees with executive stakeholders and ensure that projectsβ scope is communicated and understood.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and manage changes in scope and schedules.
- Identify risks on a timely manner, as well as provide mitigation plans and seek innovative ways to remove project obstacles.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related academic field.
- A minimum five (5) years of Project Management experience in multinational environments preferably within the financial services and/or banking sectors. Prior experience in consulting firm is preferable.
- Proven experience in coaching and mentoring project teams.
- Experience with contract drafting and negotiation.
- Experience on business restructuring projects.
- Business and Technical understanding of the Electronic Financial Transactions (EFT) business (POS, e-commerce, or ATM) and/or banking IT will be considered a plus.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Eligible to work in the EU on full-time permanent basis without the need of employer sponsorship.
