Senior Project Manager, Group Lead (Remote)

Department: Product Development

Reports to: Vice President, Software Engineering 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage a team of Project Managers/ Scrum Masters
• Track project progress and report project status to all stakeholders
• Manage and track changes to scope, priorities, schedules, and resources with scrum master
• Work closely with development and QA managers to coordinate task schedule and resource allocation, resolve conflicts, and maintain full visibility of multiple projects
• Anticipate, manage, and resolve issues and act as the point of contact for the project
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and available for staff and leadership review.
• Identify and mitigate any potential issue that may impact the deliverables of software releases
  • Manages inter product dependencies, risks, milestones, and schedules
• Work with development and QA managers to review SOPs/ Work Instructions, streamline and refine processes across product
• Work on ensuring consistency of processes across products and establishes best practices
• Capture engineering metrics for each release working with scrum masters
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with project management concepts, principles, and practices
• Deep understanding of SDLC and scaled agile using industry standard methodologies
• Ability to manage projects and interdependencies of large scope and high complexity
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Excellent time management, notes taking and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and capability of influencing without authority

Experience: 

• 5+ years of professional experience in managing software development projects
