Senior Project Manager - Peak Mining (m/f/d)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a smart, self-driven and hands-on senior project manager who will lead the planning, execution, monitoring and reporting of projects within our bitcoin mining division. An ideal candidate won’t shy away from complexity and technicalities and loves a fast-paced environment. The projects are diverse and cover internal projects, construction projects, R&D projects, new hardware deployments, software implementations and setting up internal standardised processes and procedures for new projects. You’ll work closely with the managing director of the division as well as cross-functional on projects with other team members. The role will be hands-on, instead of leading teams of project managers, but with a lot of freedom to make your own mark and apply your professionalism to accelerate our business effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading a broad range of cross-functional projects across the mining division

• Formulate and update project plans, schedules and budgets

• Review and monitor progress against project plans to ensure outputs are delivered to time and quality specifications

• Manage risks, issues and resources to ensure milestone dates are achieved and project risks are minimized

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

• Manage internal (senior) stakeholders and coordinate resources for flawless execution

• Manage, establish and maintain external relationships with suppliers, contractors and other stakeholders

• Evaluate internal processes, procedures & documentation and structure and implement new internal standardized processes for new projects

EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years of experience as a project manager or in a similar position, responsible for defining scope, timelines, budgets and effective delivery

• Proven ability to work hands-on, providing structure in a fast-paced problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence

• Construction projects in the datacenter or crypto mining space are a big plus

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related fields

• Experience with project management software such as Jira (planning) and Confluence (documentation) as well as the Office 365 suite (communication & documentation)

• Strong communication skills whilst working cross-functional with various teams

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines

• PMP Certification is considered a plus

• Home location: Eastern time zone states are strongly preferred

• Work environment: Fully remote

• Travel: 20%, some site visits required (depending on project)
