Sora Union is looking for Capital Market PM Consultants with financial and compliance expertise to join the team of our clients.
We are looking for an experienced Subject Matter Expert to work on projects related to financial controls/operations transformations and ensure timely and efficient execution

YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
As a Capital Markets Transformation Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving change and managing projects with a specific focus on Capital Markets initiatives to address regulatory, audit, risk, control, and risk management issues. Your expertise in change management and project management office (PMO) practices will be essential in ensuring successful transformations within the organization.
- Capital Markets Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Markets business and products, particularly in Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) and Equities, and/or regulatory capital requirements. Your understanding of the financial industry landscape will be crucial in guiding and advising on transformation initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and foster collaborative relationships across various stakeholders in Global Markets, including trading desks, finance, operations, technology, and risk management teams. Your ability to influence and engage with stakeholders will be instrumental in aligning efforts and driving successful outcomes.
- Data Analysis: Utilize your skills in analyzing large datasets using tools such as SQL and Python to extract valuable insights and inform decision-making. Experience in data analysis will be considered a plus, enabling you to provide valuable inputs for transformation initiatives.
- Governance and Approval: Assist in the socialization and approval of target state tools, processes, and controls through appropriate governance forums. Your attention to detail and adherence to governance protocols will help ensure that initiatives receive the necessary approvals.
- Dependency Management: Manage internal and external dependencies across various transformation initiatives. Collaborate closely with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control, and Technology teams to facilitate seamless coordination and alignment.
- Risk and Issue Resolution: Proactively identify challenges and promptly address or escalate risks and issues in a clear and concise manner. Engage relevant stakeholders and project managers to resolve potential roadblocks effectively.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Continuously engage senior stakeholders, providing timely updates and resolving issues as they arise. Your ability to communicate effectively with senior management will ensure transparency and alignment throughout the transformation process.
- Project Reporting: Produce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring them to suit various forums and committees. Your reporting skills will contribute to informed decision-making and progress tracking.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships across teams, adopting a collaborative approach to support the successful execution of transformation programs. Your ability to work as part of a cohesive team will enhance overall project efficiency.
IDEALLY, YOU'LL HAVE:
- 7+ of experience in delivering complex solutions
- Strong strategic project management skills
- Ability to drive Project transformation and strategic initiatives through a global organization
- Knowledge of performance-tracking approaches
- Knowledge of Capital Markets initiatives
- SQL and Python knowledge would be a plus
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to communicate efficiently with Senior level stakeholders
- Excellent client management skills
- Strong leadership and communications skills
