This role offers a dynamic opportunity for an experienced project manager to oversee complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects across multiple locations. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from proposals to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability at every stage. The position requires frequent travel and hands-on coordination with teams on-site, fostering collaboration and professional growth. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive project execution, resolve challenges, and deliver measurable results. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with strategic planning and leadership.
Accountabilities:
- Oversee safety compliance and promote a culture of safety-first across all project sites
- Manage project budgets, estimates, cost reporting, and financial performance to ensure profitability
- Lead scheduling, sequencing, and resource allocation for multiple concurrent projects
- Monitor project progress, perform job walks, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Serve as the primary point of contact with contractors, owners, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication
- Assist with preconstruction efforts, including proposal development and project pursuit initiatives
- Conduct project health reviews focusing on safety, quality, schedule, and financial metrics
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field; 8+ years of relevant experience (or 10+ years of experience without a degree)
- Proven track record in MEP project management or equivalent construction management experience
- Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, CMIC, or similar, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time and work extended hours as needed
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective planning, scheduling, and resource management skills, with keen attention to detail
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
- PMP Certification is a plus but not required
