Senior Project Manager - US REMOTE

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare for and lead client meetings and facilitated strategy sessions
• Develop and manage project budget and scope
• Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement
• Gather, understand, and document client system requirements for custom application design and integration needs
• Serve as proxy product owner on the development team
• Evaluate and provide formal and informal coaching and feedback to team members
• Identify additional up selling and cross selling opportunities for DXC
• Ensure overall client satisfaction

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience
• 5+ years of business analysis in a technical setting, software preferred, but will consider other specialties with desire to transition to software development

• Documentation of client requirements, preferably as user stories
• Use of one or more ALM tools (Jira, Rally, TFS)
• PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years hands-on software development experience in any capacity - PM, BA, QA, developer
• Agile certification from PMI or Scrum.org such as PMI-ACP, PSM, PSPO, PSK, PAL
• Hands-on experience with agile processes such as Scrum and Kanban
• Knowledge of agile principles/techniques
• Traditional project management certification - PMI
• 4- year degree in business, MIS, or equivalent
• HCM industry experience
• Cornerstone On Demand (CSOD) or other talent management/LMS platform experience
