Senior Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Manager based in Canada.

You will join a fast-paced technology environment where you will lead the full lifecycle of complex technical and consulting projects across global client engagements. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring close collaboration with engineering, consulting, sales, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of application and data implementation projects. You will be responsible for structuring, planning, and executing multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining quality, budget, and timeline expectations. The position demands strong leadership in ambiguous environments, with a focus on stakeholder alignment, risk management, and delivery excellence. You will play a key role in strengthening client relationships and ensuring high satisfaction across project engagements. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who thrives in managing complexity and driving outcomes in a collaborative, agile setting.

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of application and data implementation projects, from initiation through to closure, ensuring adherence to project management standards and best practices
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, estimates, and task assignments
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring alignment with scope, budget, quality, and timeline expectations
• Engage stakeholders regularly, providing clear communication through status updates, meetings, and progress reporting
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, changes, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with sales teams to ensure accurate project scoping and alignment with client expectations
• Coordinate with consulting teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables and access to required project information
• Report project milestones, roadblocks, and performance metrics to sponsors and leadership teams
• Continuously work to improve client satisfaction and strengthen long-term client relationships
• Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed sponsor expectations and business objectives

Requirements:

• PMP certification required
• 7+ years of experience in project management within technology-driven organizations
• Proven experience managing multiple medium to large-scale technical or consulting projects simultaneously
• Experience working in consulting environments is strongly preferred
• Exposure to document management systems or legal sector projects is considered an asset
• Strong ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong stakeholder management capabilities
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in complex environments
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders
• Highly organized with strong planning and risk management capabilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in fast-paced environments
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguous situations
