Senior Project Manager/Estimator

About us EMCO Metals, LLC is a small custom AISC Certified metal fabricator in Chicago, Illinois. The company was established in the 1990s and has been under new ownership since 2012. We are professional, agile, innovative and have an appreciation for exceptional quality. Our work is custom metal fabrication within the public and private sector and we include carbon, stainless and aluminum products in our fabrications. We have not indicated a pay range for the position as experience will determine pay level. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience with design and fabrication drawings, estimating, purchasing, product fabrication and installation for public and private projects. The successful applicant must be able to interpret design drawings, prepare an estimate, coordinate material purchases and shop fabrication upon acceptance of a project and ensure customer satisfaction once a project is completed. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with customers and Management to develop project scope of work; • Prepare estimates for new projects; • Review estimates for accuracy with Management and colleagues; • Coordinate submittal drawings and necessary project documentation. AutoCad or SolidWorks expreience is a plus; • Work with shop employees to ensure successful fabrication of products to meet approved drawings; • Ensure all quality standards for EMCO Metals, LLC and the customer are met in shipped projects.
