The Role:

You will build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with key providers in Carrot’s global provider network. This includes fertility clinics, lawyers, adoption agencies, and other provider types. You will be responsible for managing relationships and negotiating the best deals with our Carrot partners, and for identifying strategic opportunities to add additional value through co-marketing, etc. If an issue with a partner arises, you jump in to solve it.  You will have an opportunity to work with amazing partners from around the world and need to have the cultural sensitivity to adapt your partnership approach to the unique needs of various markets.

The Team:

The Global Provider Network Strategy and Partnerships team is an exciting new team within Carrot’s Global Solutions organization. This team is responsible for building a global provider strategy that maximizes Carrot’s provider network across 4 pillars: quality, affordability, access, and member experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of partnerships management experience as an individual contributor (this could be in a sales role, partnerships role, or any kind of team where there are both relationship building and profitability components). Ideally you have experience with both new partnership prioritization and creation as well as existing partner management. You could mentor others in this area.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, both internal and external communications. You thrive writing emails, leading zoom calls, negotiating deals, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience using a CRM system (like Salesforce or Airtable) to track partnerships progress
  • Strong aptitude and familiarity with google sheets, google docs, zoom, powerpoint, and ability to quickly learn and ramp up on any other tools and systems you might need for your role
  • Aptitude for problem solving. You are able to find paths forward even in tricky problems.
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to move deals forward in a timely manner, even when roadblocks appear

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ideally, you’ll have deep understanding of and experience with the fertility industry. Perhaps you’ve worked at a fertility clinic or have similar industry experience.
  • Ideally, you have experience living and/or working globally. You must have the cultural sensitivity to understand the needs of different cultures and regions and be able to adapt your partnerships approach to fit the local needs of a global audience
  • Ideally, you have some familiarity with Jira tickets (if you don’t, this can be trained)
  • Data driven approach to partnership work
  • Strong ability to prioritize what’s most important, especially when there are competing priorities
  • Comfortable in a scrappy, startup environment. You are able to adapt to change and thrive in an environment that lets you innovate and build from the ground up.
  • Passion for Carrot’s mission: Fertility care for all

Compensation:

Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The expected base salary for this position will range from $94,000 - $128,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
