We are looking for an experienced Senior Pursuit Project Manager focused on managing and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the pursuit process. This role will serve as a leader of highly motivated, multidisciplinary teams that collaborate to define and present solutions to business problems for our clients and prospective clients.


This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our business development initiatives, strengthen our market position, and drive revenue growth. The Senior Pursuit Project Manager should have a clear understanding of the digital services ecosystem and have deep experience working on client proposals and presentations. Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of all necessary pursuit procedures, governance, and processes.


This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure with challenging deadlines. It requires strong people management and commercial skills. The best candidate will have a passion to win, bias for action, and bring a positive energy to the team. 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end pursuit process and team to ensure timely and complete deliverables
  • Understand client requirements, objectives and other standard activities associated with the pursuit lifecycle
  • Manage internal and external communications and collaboration with team members
  • Facilitate efficient meetings including producing detailed agenda, facilitating discussions, and ensuring action items are identified, followed up on and completed
  • Evaluate requirements and gather materials from multidisciplinary teams to help define a shared vision
  • Work with pursuit team members to prepare collateral such as storyboards, placemats, and presentations
  • Lead the completion of any RFP questionnaires, assigning out questions as needed and ensuring quality, on-time responses from pursuit team members
  • Write executive summaries and proposals to support pursuit goals as needed
  • Lead knowledge acquisition and management efforts including requests to the research desk to develop an informed view of the potential customer and ensure pursuit team members are all operating from the same base of information
  • Proofread commercial proposals, which contain technical content and designs ensuring that these are presented in a professional and concise manner
  • Risk tracking and management throughout the pursuit process
  • Keeping track of all pursuit costs and managing pursuit budgets
  • Facilitate pursuit retrospectives to apply learnings to process improvement
  • Work on pursuit process improvements regularly based on learnings
  • Build strong relationships with team members across the organization
  • Continue expansion and development of new skills, techniques, and tools through continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience of progressively increased responsibility 
  • 3+ years of experience working as a consultant or in an agency as a project/proposal manager 
  • Experience managing and creating client proposals for complex and large-scale digital services contracts
  • Experience in public speaking and delivering oral presentations
  • Exposure to a wide variety of management techniques, including Scrum and Agile
  • In-depth understanding of digital development process and technologies 
  • Worked with multiple teams simultaneously, each consisting of 4 to 8 people
  • Ability to work on tight timescales particularly when developing proposals
  • Team- and action-oriented; proactive in prioritizing own work load and assigning areas of responsibility to others
  • Ability to influence team members to get results without direct authority
  • Proven organizational skills and a focused attention to detail
  • Experience in Confluence / JIRA, Google Suite, MS Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Teams)
  • Experience with CMS platforms (Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal), eCommerce platforms (Adobe Commerce, Shopify, Fabric), Google Marketing Platform, and Salesforce Cloud a plus
  • Experience working in regulated environments such as financial services, pharmaceutical, healthcare and experience with policies such as Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI, and/or CAN-SPAM a plus
  • A strong digital DNA with knowledge of concepts such as SEO, SEM, A/B and Multivariate testing, Conversion Optimization, Visual Design, User Experience Design, Information Architecture, Mobile (Native and Web)
  • Agile and PMI certifications are a plus
  • BS/BA in relevant program, or equivalent work experience preferred
