Senior Python Developer

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Python dev in our Data Transformation and Transfer practice you will write
scalable code developing back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance. You will work together with our colleagues writing and testing code debugging programs and integrating applications with third-party services.

Your Role and Responsibilities :

• You’ll use at an advanced level at least one of the following programming languages/frameworks: Python R and R Shiny
• Developing the application’s back-end components and linking it with other web services
• Design and maintain Python scripts and codes to automate tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and develop new features and fix bugs in existing software products

You’ll be responsible for writing reusable testable and efficient code — ensuring the application’s performance security and scalability.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong experience in at least one of the following programming languages/frameworks: Python R and R Shiny
• Extended experience in Cleansing Analysing & Aggregating large datasets
• Knows state-of-the-art Data Science Techniques and how to apply them Pandas Numpy
• Knowledgeable about the following libraries: Pandas Numpy; knowledgeable in Jupyter hub Rstudio server; Hbase Kafka
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (Statistics Data Science Computer Science etc.)
