Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Python Developer to join our tools development team.
The successful candidate will enhance our existing tool designed for security reporting. This role involves modularizing the code and adding new features to improve the tool's capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Enhance integration with JIRA for ticket creation and email notifications for issues found
• Refactor and modularize the existing codebase to improve maintainability and scalability
• Work closely with the team to ensure the seamless integration of new features and maintain the high performance of the tool
• Develop and implement new features to enhance the functionality of the security tool
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the application to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Python development, especially in the context of security tools
• Proficiency in modular programming and code refactoring
• Proficiency with relational databases; knowledge of SQL
• Background in using Google Cloud Platform, Python, and REST API
• Understanding of JIRA and capability to integrate it effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Qualifications in security or Python development are advantageous

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD and ETL/ELT Solutions
• Knowledge of Google Cloud BigQuery and Looker Studio
• Experience with Python Jira API
• Proficiency in PyTorch
