Job Description

We're looking for Senior Python Developer to join Data Team. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining companies' data warehouse platform. 

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and development of Python and MySQL-based data warehouse engine;
• Transition legacy data processes from MySQL to Snowflake (migration);
• Development of ETL processes;
• Ensure that the data sources utilized by the Finance department and other teams are dependable and consistent;
• Work safely, healthily, and responsibly, and promote safe operational practices for yourself, colleagues, and external clients;
• Sustain and guarantee effective, high-quality reporting, remaining receptive to challenges and feedback;
• Always strive to provide the best service for both internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Python programming (including relevant libraries, design patterns in OO, and multithreaded software);
• Practical knowledge of software development lifecycle and supporting tools (e.g.: Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, TeamCity)
• Working experience with databases (MySQL, SnowFlake) using Python;
• Practical knowledge of the Unix environment;
• Practical experience with Docker;
• Educated to degree level in IT/MI/BI with business elements;
• Fluent in verbal and written English (min. B2+/C1 level);
• Team player with the ability to work independently;
• Positive mindset – ‘can-do attitude.

Nice to have

• You will have a minimum experience of 4 years in the relevant areas in a sizable Company,
• Basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services,
• Preferably worked in Financial Service (Fintech a plus).

• Work model: Hybrid from Warsaw (1 time a month from the office);
• Type of contract: B2B;
• Start: ASAP
• Rate: up to 155 PLN/h net + vat;
• Project length: Longterm
