Senior Python Django Developer

We are looking for a Python Django Developer to join our team and support the ongoing development and optimization of a custom Content Management System (CMS) and various company websites.
This role will involve building, updating, and optimizing backend modules, integrating data from APIs, and collaborating with team members to ensure the quality and efficiency of web solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Python and Django, along with experience in jQuery for front-end interactions.

Responsibilities

• Build and update modules for the company's custom CMS
• Develop, code, and modify back-end features for the company's websites
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best practices
• Provide documentation for modules and functionalities developed
• Optimize existing systems for improved performance and efficiency
• Integrate data from APIs and databases to support functionality
• Review code quality from Junior Back-End Developers and provide guidance

• Proficiency in Python and Django framework (must-have)
• Strong knowledge of jQuery and familiarity with JavaScript for enhancing front-end functionality
• Foundational knowledge of modern HTML/CSS to support front-end integrations
• Proficient in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Experience with Git, JIRA, and Confluence to manage version control, project tasks, and documentation
• Familiarity with additional frameworks such as Django ORM, FastAPI, Flask is beneficial
• Experience with Redis and MongoDB is advantageous
