Senior Python Software Developer

We are seeking a Senior Python Backend Developer with a passion for building robust, high-performance products using modern engineering practices and cutting-edge technology. In this role, you’ll enhance the architecture of our backend applications, focusing on performance, scalability, and simplicity. Working closely with a team of talented developers, you’ll play a key role in shaping our product, bringing strong organisational skills and a drive to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Implement RESTful APIs and core business logic
• Redesign application architecture to optimise performance and scalability
• Improve application performance and capacity planning
• Lock down and manage the technology stack from end to end
• Collaborate in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Integrate APIs with other SaaS platforms
• Mentor and coach fellow developers

• Strong proficiency in Python programming
• Extensive experience with the Flask framework
• Skilled in developing and utilizing RESTful APIs
• Expertise in both relational and non-relational databases
• Proven experience mentoring other developers
• Solid background in Microservices development
• Experience in the iGaming industry would be considered an asset.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, GitOps and Django framework
• Experience with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Experience with WebSockets, Go, Java, PHP, or JavaScript
• Background in Test-Driven Development (TDD)
