You will:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for API and mobile testing, covering functional, integration, and regression scenarios.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for API and mobile applications.
• Conduct thorough API testing, including validating API endpoints, data integrity, error handling, and performance.
• Perform mobile app testing on various platforms (iOS and Android) using appropriate tools and frameworks, ensuring compatibility, usability, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to identify and prioritize test requirements and ensure product quality.
• Continuously improve and optimize automation frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify, investigate, and report software defects and issues, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolution.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in API and mobile testing, and share knowledge with the team.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

You have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, with a specialization in API and mobile testing.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation frameworks for API and mobile testing.
• In-depth knowledge of API testing methodologies, concepts, and tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI).
• Demonstrated hands on experience in testing mobile apps
• Demonstrated expertise in mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, XCTest, Espresso) and mobile app testing on iOS and Android platforms.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo) for test automation integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in API testing (e.g., ISTQB API Testing Certification) or mobile testing (e.g., Certified Mobile Tester).
• Experience with performance testing of APIs and mobile applications using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of mobile app security testing techniques and tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their services for testing and deployment.
