Senior QA Automation Engineer (Remote)

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to help us manage our diverse and growing set of initiatives. This position will directly report to the Associate Director of QA. Jun Group will only consider candidates for this position who are currently legally authorized to work in the United States.

What you’ll do

• Design, code, test, debug, and document both new and existing automation frameworks
• Be a leader in the Automation space, acting as an escalation point and providing guidance to junior team members  
• Develop automated tests to accelerate our release cycles
• Work closely with the manual QA team to identify candidates for automation 
• Work with Product and Engineering to clarify product and technical requirements
• Translate requirements into comprehensive test strategies for various products
• Help us pick new tools and decide on new processes that help improve how we do QA
• Lead and manage the code review process for automated tests and new features
• Monitor and maintain daily automation runs, and triage issues raised 

Who you are

• You have In-depth knowledge of QA concepts and best practices
• You have 5+ years of experience in QA and automation across different platforms such as Web, Mobile and APIs
• You are experienced with the latest tools and industry best practices of front-end web application test automation and REST API testing frameworks
• You have experience working in agile software development
• You have hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g. Travis CI, Jenkins, etc)
• You have excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, and curiosity

Preferred skills

• Proficiency with Python, Kotlin, and Swift
• Experience training and elevating junior team members
• Knowledge of Ruby, (RoR a plus)
