Your Role and Responsibilities

• Creating Automation frameworks and automating testcases.
• Testing all aspects of the product/system including function/component system performance regression and service
• Work with the development team to identify and capture test cases and ensure version management
• Setting up of test environments designing test plans developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases and executing these cases
• Providing feedback on usability and serviceability trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people in developemnt
• Build the Test Automation suite using industry standard Automation tools/technologies.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Automation Testing
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source automation technologies and tools
• Experienced in Install deploy and associated automation with middleware- Appservers like Tomcat/JBoss and databases like Oracle/MySQL
• Strong at system administration especially Linux with the passion for scripting coding and automation.
• Working Knowledge of Automation tools and frameworks including JMeter QTPro Selenium and Cucumber
• Working knowledge of using virtual machine environments
• An understanding of the software development life cycle as well as the business approach for the product
• Demonstrated Analytical skills and decision-making ability attention to details and a strong test aptitude
• Ability to work in a team as well as an individual contributor
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience using Atlassian JIRA
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
