Senior QA e-commerce (H/F)

Job Description

For our client who operates in the luxury sector, we are looking for an experienced Lead QA Automation Engineer to organize, support and coordinate its e-Commerce testing activities.

Test management

• Mobilize and manage various stakeholders, ranging from Business users to technical ones 
• Understand the testing effort by analysing the requirements and constraints of the project
• Estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources and budget required to perform the testing
• Define the test strategy to be applied based on the best practices and project specificities
• Handle hardware and software requirements for the Test Setup
• Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per the standards defined by the organization
• Act as the single point of contact between Release Manager, Development and Testers
• Track and prepare the report of testing activities like testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc.
• Ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones
• Prepare / update metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of project

Resource management (allocation, monitoring, motivating etc)

• Build a testing team of professionals with appropriate skills, mind-set and motivation
• Manage testing team activities according to the various phases of the projects
• Dispatch tasks and ensure follow-up until they are done
• Ensure productivity and velocity of the testing team
• Identify Training requirements (Technical and Soft skills)

Qualifications

• +10 years of experience as QA engineer
• Proven history of leading QA activities with full responsibility for corresponding deliverables
• Proven ability to perform end-to-end test
• Experience of working in agile environment with remote teams and stakeholders
• Prior experience in system integration and data migration projects is strong plus
• Development background is a strong plus
• Experience of Luxury industry is a plus
• Proven experience in Ecommerce domain
