The Role
We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer who will be responsible for evaluating what we are building by any means possible and then creating test cases to ensure we hit the quality bar required. Help the team build replay suites so everyone can focus on testing new ground vs. running the same tests over and over again. Use your product cycle experience to work with developers and determine what the highest value targets are during each stage of development. Always be giving feedback to the team, be the ground truth, and ensure no critical issue gets ignored. Help both define and mentor a QA culture in the development team.

Who You Are

• You are an experienced tester; having owned testing for multiple game features
• You are passionate about Test as a discipline and career path
• You have experience and working skillset in UnReal Engine Blueprints and/or networking.
• You have a fine attention to detail and are relentless about tracking down and documenting defects
• You are a fierce customer advocate
• You dig games and have opinions about them.

What You Will Do:

• Write and execute test specifications and test cases
• Automate test cases and test suites.
• Utilize test tools such as bug databases and test management software
• Document defects and champion their resolution
• Help the team build replay suites so they can focus on testing new ground
• Work with developers to determine what the highest value targets are during each stage of development
• Provide constant feedback to the team about project quality as the voice of truth
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with proprietary information
• Take ownership for the quality of broad areas of a game project

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 plus years' experience testing software or games
• Experience writing test specs, and test cases
• Previous experience with UnReal Engine Blueprints features.
• Experience testing multiplayer games
• Experience working directly with game development teams
