ResMed SaaS is looking for an innovative and driven Quality Assurance Software Engineer responsible for helping support our Patient Core Team. In this role you will help ensure that our solutions meet the highest quality standards we promise to deliver to our customers.

MatrixCare is the industry leader in Out-Of-Hospital Healthcare Software and a part of the ResMed Global SaaS business. This is a senior level role with the Skilled Nursing Team, which is part of the larger Facilities, R&D.

We are looking for a motivated Engineer to join a growing team of talented colleagues who are focused on the growing demand for putting data to work for our customers.   • Develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems and their causes
  • Design, architect, develop, test, deploy and troubleshoot complex product integrations
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation systems and tools to be used by development and test engineers
  • Build and improve software and tools by translating requirements and problems into robust, scalable, and supportable test solutions
  • Work closely with team members on requirement analysis and reviews to ensure high test coverage
  • Develop manual/automated test procedures for software features, database impacts, regression testing and negative testing
  • Design and author test cases for unit, functional, performance, scalability, and durability testing
  • Participate in various scrum meetings to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, estimates or potential problems
  • Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks
  • Defect and issue identification, logging, tracking, reporting and timely verification of resolved items
  • Ensure testing commitments are met and clearly communicate potential impacts to schedule to the team
  • Maintain test cases, test plans, and manage them with changing requirements
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team including Development, QA, Implementation, Documentation, Support and Sales
  • Support the product through its full life cycle of design, code, test, and maintenance
  • Assist in assessing product quality and release readiness
  • Review source code for potential problems; reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes
  • Be part of an on-call support rotation
  • Follow and support corporate security policies, standards, and procedures as they apply to this role. Maintain customer and corporate privacy standards as outlined by HIPAA

Let's Talk About You

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance testing
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance best practices, with an understanding of what and when to automate
  • Expertise in QA testing methodology and best practices with proven knowledge the Quality Assurance discipline
  • Experience with automating API tests. (Postman, Charles, any other REST-based testing tool)
  • Experience of integrating test automation solutions into CI processes (Azure Devops, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Strong commitment to quality, ability to work closely and communicate effectively with developers and managers
  • Contribute to both manual and automated testing

Preferred skills:

  • Performance Testing (jMeter, k6, etc.)
  • Security Testing knowledge (ZAP, Twistlock, etc.)
  • User interface automation testing knowledge (Selenium)
  • Knowledge of SQL or similar database query language. (SQL Server)
  • An understanding of best programming practices and good software design
  • A good understanding of web technologies, client and server interactions
  • Enthusiastic, high-energy individual, self-motivated, people-oriented, and self-directed
  • A healthy blend of deep technical knowledge with customer-focused mindset and empathy
  • Proven ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams
  • Willing to work independently, manage priorities on multiple tasks, solve complex problems and assist the Team with troubleshooting issues and bugs
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry domain, common healthcare data and integrations, industry standards, etc.
  • Experience with Sensitive Data Environments (PCI, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Ability to exhibit desirable and appropriate behavior including integrity, ability to get along with others, team playing industriousness, supportive communication, sense of urgency and confidentiality and independent judgement to provide for a cohesive working environment dedicated to achieving the organization's goals.
  • Experience testing highly scalable and reliable software solutions platforms

  • Hours of work normally 40 per week with occasional nights & weekends as needed
  • Ability to work non-standard hours including weekends and holidays, as required

Employees accrue fifteen days Paid Time Off (PTO) in their first year of employment, receive 11 paid holidays plus 3 floating days and are eligible for 14 weeks of primary caregiver or two weeks of secondary caregiver leave when welcoming new family members. Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

Subject to the absolute discretion of the company, this role may be eligible to receive bonus / stock equity based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.

Base Pay Range for this position:

118,000.00 - 148,000.00 USD Annual

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based on the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
