Work Location: Hybrid Need 2-3 days onsite in Wembley, England

Job Description:

Orion Innovation Solutions UK Ltd requires a Senior Quality Analyst (Senior Tester) in Sports BU. This role is to be played in an already running Software Development team that follows Agile Scrum principles for building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the latest tech stacks in cloud platform. This role reports directly to Senior Delivery Manager of the program in onshore, though works dedicated in a specific workstream

Key Accountability:

• Design & implement clear test strategies to ensure testing of all functional and non-functional requirements. 
• Be a good listener in business requirement and refinement sessions • Evaluate the business needs and ask the questions so that the PO & Tech team can answer towards clarity
• Write test cases with all positive and negative scenarios well covered, by looking into acceptance criteria 
• Get test case reviewed by your PO / PM and get sign off before execution 
• Plan, execute and report your daily and sprint activities in JIRA 
• Demonstrate the tested & signed off application to customers/stakeholders 
• Identify and raise any risks in delays of delivery or performance issues, in a QA perspective 
• Any and all bugs raised should contain reproducing steps and video/screengrab proofs 
• Help your own team follow the right practices by providing examples being a senior 
• Focus on quality, not on quantity • Post every sprint, update the regression suite as needed 
• Prepare test data and test plan for integration & load testing. Execute it on-demand. 
• Test summary report to be shared and stored for audit and compliance needs

Key Performance Indicators:

• Customer satisfaction based on roles & responsibilities in assigned workstream 
• No single P1 / P2 incidents should come from customers/clients from Production environment 
• Test evidence should be in JIRA well documented 
• No slippages in testing timelines 
• No Noncompliance to be found in ISO/CMMI Audit on the workstream’s test strategy review 
• Adherence of organization policies in hybrid working model, timesheets and portfolio tools 

Primary skills: 

BDD based test cases, good verbal and written skills in English, Agile practice using JIRA, Confluence, Postman/Rest Assured/Cypress automation tool, Inter team collaboration, client presentation skills, Scrum ceremonies understanding, Integration testing, sanity testing, regression testing, load test scripts & data preparation

Good to have:

English football pyramid knowledge, Know the game of football, Selenium hands-on with UI automation, Any previous sports domain experience is a plus. ISTQB / CQE / CSTE certification
