Senior QA Engineer

Job Description

Position Summary: As a QA Engineer at ADT you will be responsible for the Full System QA. The role will consist of automating system procedures, testing hardware for system compliance and verifying the platform against system requirements. You will employ procedures and policies and work closely with the various departments to collect, prepare, organize, protect, and analyze data assets while ensuring that the company meets industry best practices.

• Oversee QA Systems and Outside Parties for QA compliance
• Champion quality throughout the development process
• Work on teams supporting trials, tests and field "soaking" of System components.
• Lead a team to develop and complete routine, smart and focused, automation tests based on identified feature sets to a scheduled plan.
• Craft and develop automation frameworks, approaches, and test suites to test Bose products and services, working with Engineering, QA, System Architects, Product Owners, and others while leveraging, extending, and sharing wherever possible

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5-7 years' experience in QA or Software Engineering
• 3+ years' experience designing, implementing, and performing automated tests
• 3+ years of people management
• Experience with Python / pytest and other scripting languages
• Experience using common automation frameworks
• Familiarity with version control, bug tracking, and CI / CD systems and procedures; Jenkins, groovy scripting ect.
• Expertise with Zigbee, Zwave,Bluetooth, WiFi, or other networking protocols.
• Experience with basic lab equipment
• Keen sense of ownership, hardworking, fast learner, detailed, analytical mentality, precision seeker.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with Android, iOS, or other mobile application development or testing.
