Nexidia (a NICE company) is looking for a Sr. Quality Assurance engineer to design tests for a contact analytics system. The product is a high-performance, high-scale distributed system for processing real-time audio and chat streams. The position involves work with components deployed to enterprise datacenters as well as to the Amazon cloud. Our systems integrate with a complex suite of analytics tools, so a candidate needs a strong technical background to define and execute test cases.
Responsibilities
- Create and document test plans based on requirements analysis
- Conduct multi-team reviews of integration test plans
- Collaborate with developers to define test case details
- Plan test activities to coincide with project schedules
- Execute system tests, analyze and post results
- Diagnose test failures, e.g. via log
- Define, build, and maintain integration test environments
- Assist developers with diagnosis of escalated trouble reports
- Analyze system for testability, suggest testability enhancements
- Select technologies for large-scale test automation
- Direct junior engineers to assist with test environment maintenance
- Represent team in meetings with other enterprise groups to evaluate testing tools
- Document and track execution of test cases to evaluate coverage
- Participate in agile software development lifecycle, to include providing ideas for refinement.
Required Skills
- At least 7 years software quality assurance
- Windows administration
- At least one test automation framework in Linux and Windows, potentially including scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Basic SQL query writing skills
Desired Skills
- Network and server analysis
- AWS administration
- Basic SQL Server administration
- Call center or CX industry experience
- Call recorder configuration, especially NICE Engage
