Senior QA Engineer (Remote - U.S.)

Position Summary: Fusion Worldwide is seeking a highly-talented Senior QA Engineer that will be part of a remote development team. This individual will own Ecommerce web application testing strategy. This is a contract position with a duration of 4-6 months.

What You Can Do For Us 

• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test strategy development.
• Own eCommerce web application testing strategy, including testing for various device types.
• Evaluate new feature requests for clarity and risk.
• Collaborate with ecommerce front end and backend development teams, OMS development and test teams to understand testing requirements and business objectives.
• Articulate clear and concise test strategies, including Test Plans, User stories, Use cases, Regression tests, Smoke test.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for ecommerce applications.
• Lead and execute manual testing efforts, including test case creation, execution, and defect reporting.
• Validate front end webpage analytics and 3rd party data collection tag integration on webpages.
• Lead technical SEO validation to ensure the website's search engine visibility and ranking.
• Identify areas suitable for automation and implement automated testing solutions.
• Ensure high-quality software releases by conducting thorough testing and identifying defects.

Desired Skills & Experience: 

• 6+ years of relevant experience in manual and automation testing, including mobile browser testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in automation (e.g., Python, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
• Experience testing ecommerce applications, including cart functionality, payment gateways, order processing, etc.
• Familiarity with Confluence & JIRA and creating custom reports, as necessary.
• Familiarity with different testing types such as functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Experience with load testing tools (e.g., JMeter) for performance testing.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, API testing and tools like Postman.
• Experience with Database testing.
• Relevant experience in testing ecommerce applications, preferably B2B.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in technical SEO testing tools like screaming frog or Google Search console, GTM tag and front-end page SEO validation.
• Understanding of SEO-related HTML tags, meta data, and structured data.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and implementation.
