Senior QA Engineer/SDET

Job Description

We’re looking for Senior QA Engineer in Test to join Procore’s Product & Technology Team. Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. We’re a customer-centric group that encompasses engineering, product, product design and data, security and business systems. 

As a Senior QA, you’ll partner with our teams to bring our QA strategy and implementation to the next level in our organization. You will be responsible for developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and tools to ensure the highest quality of our mobile applications.

This position will be based in our Bangalore office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do

• Lead the development and implementation of automated testing strategies for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.

• Design and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Appium, Espresso, and XCTest.

• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure seamless and efficient testing processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and QA engineers to define and implement test plans and strategies.

• Mentor and guide junior SDETs and QA engineers on best practices in mobile automation testing.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.

• Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with development teams to resolve them.

• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.

• 5+ years of experience in mobile automation testing for Android and iOS platforms.

• Strong proficiency with automation tools such as Appium.

• Solid programming skills in Java, kotlin and swift is a plus.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
