Responsibilities:
- Review technical specifications and translate them into test cases maximizing test coverage
- Architect test strategies and approaches
- Execute test plans, test cases/scripts
- Create test data for different test scenarios
- Document test cases and defects as needed
- Analyze and narrow down problems to small reproducible test cases enabling developers to review problems easily
- Prepare and deliver software releases
- Ensure all product releases meet or exceed defined quality goals
- Perform high-quality work within deadlines with minimal supervision
- Mentor and train less experienced personnel
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of software testing experience
- Experience in an Agile Scrum environment
- Strong root cause analysis skills
- Ability to write and execute advanced SQL queries and store procedures for testing purposes
- Ability to conduct smoke, functional testing, regression testing, system-level integration testing, end-to-end testing, and acceptance testing
- In-depth understanding of software development processes and methodologies including their documentation and creation
- Knowledge and experience with version control and defect tracking systems
- Ability to handle multiple projects and task responsibilities simultaneously and switch among them quickly to meet prioritized business needs
- Excellent analytical and program solving skills, excellent written and oral communication, self-starter and highly motivated
- Willingness to learn, possess "can do" attitude
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
