Senior QA - Web Based

Requirements

• Day-to-day responsibilities around web application testing, back end services testing, and identifying and fixing bugs
• Manage test plans based off Jira ticket requirements
• Perform testing around mobile usability, compatibility, interface, performance, and installation
• Communicate testing updates, risks, dependencies, and progress with the team
• Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
• Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
• QA software and/or mobile testing experience
• Knowledge and understanding of mobile development (e.g. native, react native, hybrid, PWA, or web-responsive), APIs, and relevant tools and technologies
• Knowledge of Jira is a plus
• Willing to learn how to deliver work iteratively and push goals to the finish line
• Ability to work collaboratively with a group of team members

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years programming experience with Java, javascript and Python
• Strong problem solver with focus on code design, quality and architecture.
• Working knowledge of software development methodologies and tools including experience with automated build systems, version and project control and issue racking systems.
• Familiarity with relational databases (SQL server, MySQL, etc.)
