Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead our quality assurance efforts by designing and implementing a holistic test strategy and working closely with our external automation partner for strategic and operational alignment. This role involves design and management of test cases for internal and customer-facing applications, and extensive collaboration with technical and non-technical product owners as well as developers to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

• Define Test Strategy for existing as well as new platform components.
• Design and implement robust test plans and methodologies tailored to project requirements, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional aspects.
• Establish and maintain testing standards, guidelines, and documentation to facilitate consistent and efficient testing practices across the organization.
• Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Work closely with our external automation partner and drive process improvements through detailed analysis of processes and quality metrics.
• Complete ownership of UAT process to sign off on quality of deliverables.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution, working closely with developers and other stakeholders.
• Enhance QA methodologies to ensure scalability and reliability of our software.
• Mentor junior QA staff and lead by example in all areas of quality assurance.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing methodologies and tools

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role in agile teams.
• Track record of setting up a QA framework from scratch, including test automation
• Proven experience in leading and executing complex testing projects, involving API testing.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Thorough understanding of automated testing tools and risk-based testing approach.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work with multiple deadlines
• Highly motivated and constantly aiming to improve processes 
• Fluency in English, other European languages a plus

• Effective collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills
• ISTQB or similar certification is a plus
