Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are growing exponentially and we are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you like to break things and love a challenge we could be the company for you! You will work closely with engineers throughout the development and testing lifecycle and drive the design and development of automation scripts.

You will be confident in challenging business requirements to ensure you are continuously delivering the best possible outcome, harnessing innovation and driving adoption of new technologies to deliver business value. Your vision and ambition will contribute to shaping our online technology roadmap, influencing our future technical direction and balancing passion with precision to deliver exceptional online service and solutions for our customers. We are looking for experienced engineers with an appetite for solving complex problems and build seamless user interactions to world-class standards.

This is a hybrid opportunity for someone who has the right to work in the UK. You will be required to work in our client's central London office 2/3 days a week.

• Working with Software Engineers to ensure the right levels of test automation are built to your standards
• Testing mobile and web applications
• Using source control systems
• Breaking things and finding problems!
• Designing test scenarios, scripts or procedures that fit with the concepts of Test Automation and Continuous Delivery
• Creating resilient automated test suites to exercise Web and Mobile applications with tools like Selenium, Espresso, UI Automator, KIF or XCTest
• Being self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose
• Being motivated to keep learning about test automation

What you will be doing

Developing and Executing Test Cases:

• Write and execute detailed test cases and scenarios for e2e testing for all features, with support from QA Leads and PMs across multiple environments and all devices

Bug Identification and Documentation:

• Identify, document, and report bugs in a structured and consistent manner in Jira
• Re-test fixes and manage the bug lifecycle to ensure resolutions meet quality standards

Test Environment Setup and Maintenance:

• Prepare and maintain test environments, ensuring they mirror production as closely as possible to enhance testing accuracy.
• Manage test data setup to cover all possible use cases and customer types/statuses

Collaborating with Product and Development Teams

• Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, verify test coverage, and adjust priorities as needed.
