About the Role
We are looking for a full time Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in San Francisco. We’re a quickly growing company with a robust product that tens of thousands of people use to run their businesses every day. (Here’s a little more about our Product team.) You will work closely with the FareHarbor Product Team in both San Francisco and Amsterdam to source, aggregate, and triage issue reports as well as test new and existing features. Must have strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Triage issue reports from various sources, including internal and external stakeholders
- Design, implement and execute test strategy to ensure product quality
- Work with issue reporters to determine if there is a new issue, an existing issue, or no issue
- Test new features prior to production release
- Provide continued feedback throughout all stages of testing
- Help prepare and write automated test.
Requirements:
- Have 5+ years manual software testing experience in a professional setting
- Be able to reproduce and document issues in an organized method
- Work methodically, think analytically, solve problems, and pay attention to details
- Be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of internal stakeholders
- Be willing to learn new processes and skills to tackle projects
- Have mastery of at least one programming language (Python or Javascript is a plus).
- Experience working and implementing E2E Automation (Karma, WebdriverIO, Cypress or similar)
- Experience with Test Automation Design Patterns
- Proven experience with testing and maintaining APIs
- Manual testing experience with Web and Mobile testing
- Test cases creation/management experience and Bug Tracking Tools (Tools - Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or something similar)
- Experience working in Scrum/Kanban
- Experience with Source control (e.g. Git)
