Position Scope

SES is seeking a talented Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate is committed and dedicated, responsible, focused, detail-oriented, able to adjust in a fast-paced working environment, collaborate well with other staff members with a shared vision and demonstrate excellent organizational communication skills.

This position will be onsite and based in our Woburn, MA location.

Responsibilities

• Help develop the Li-metal battery quality system at our Boston site.
• Work closely with process development and R&D teams to design a robust manufacturing QC process.
• Root-cause and solve quality issues in the overall manufacturing process, ranging from incoming material to the final product.
• Be able to work in a team environment and communicate across various teams to solve quality issues and create long-term solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering or engineering-related field.
• 5-8+ years of Industry experience.
• Knowledge of common battery quality systems; including battery testing, material screening, and quality control.
• Hands-on battery quality/testing experience.
• Analyzing data and drawing conclusions from data. (Prefer: Test data analysis)
• Knowledge of quality standards is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a good attention to detail.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a fast-moving team.
