As a Senior Quality Engineer II you are tasked to drive and assist on daily operations (Vision Care and Surgical), including validation/qualification activity, continuous improvement, failure investigation & root cause analysis of GMP issues in the manufacturing at Batam. In this role, a typical day will include:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to assist and support Failure Investigation and root cause analysis.
• Act as QE SME for Validation/Qualification
• Responsible to manage & support validation/qualification activities for product/process/system/equipment and raw material of Alcon products.
• Responsible to ensure compliance and provide guidance and technical support to Quality/Production function.
• Responsible to perform product/process/system risk/impact assessment and provide the vision from quality point of view on risk/impact management review and approval (as applicable).
• Responsible to lead and drive Quality Improvement and support Continuous Improvement Initiatives (CII) for Vision Care and Surgical Products.

What Can You Bring to Alcon:

• Minimum Degree in Science/Engineering or related studies.
• 5+ Years of Experience in Pharmaceutical / Medical Device Industry preferred
