Senior React Engineer

We are looking for a Senior React Engineer to join our team in Poland.

Our customer is a company offering industry-neutral investor onboarding clearinghouse for the private markets. It provides solutions for KYC, taxation, managed services, fund subscriptions, MLRO support, and more.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll spearhead our frontend development efforts, combining leadership with deep technical expertise. With your proficiency in React and your experience in other technologies such as Angular, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting and optimizing our web applications, ensuring they're both innovative and robust. Our technology stack includes React, Angular, .NET, SQL and is hosted in Azure.  We are looking to develop new services using React but also support our existing system with Angular.

Responsibilities:

• Mentoring developers and promoting best practices across the team.
• Drive the adoption of advanced frontend technologies and methodologies.
• Collaborate with architects and backend teams to design scalable, user-friendly, and high-performant solutions.
• Design, develop, and optimize web applications using React, Angular, and other frontend technologies.
• Ensure the responsiveness, performance, and maintainability of applications across platforms and devices.
• Implement TDD practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality code.
• Write unit and integration tests, ensuring the reliability and robustness of the platform.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
• Engage in agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements: 

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology field preferred.
• At least 5 years experience in React and other technologies such as Angular, with a strong grasp of web development fundamentals including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with TDD and related testing frameworks/tools.
• Expert frontend development experience, with a proven track record of leading projects and teams.
• Knowledge of backend software development.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of guiding the team and interacting with a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong leadership qualities, with a commitment to mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Familiarity with modern build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• Exposure to other frontend libraries or frameworks.
