Senior React Native/React Engineer

We are looking for a Senior React Native/React Engineer to join our team!

About the Client:
Development of integrated responsive front-end web and mobile applications that supports farmers and growers in the use of and natural, organic solutions that improve the health, resilience and productivity of their crops. The application supports the grower in mapping (possible) problems in the crops, choosing the solution to be used and investigating possible side effects of the solution used. In short, with these tools we make life easier for our customers and technical consultants.
Think of the use of useful insects, for example the use of parasitic wasps in case of too high numbers of whitefly in cultivation.
An existing set of applications has been developed in React and React Native that work on top of a backend from REST API.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and maintain the mobile app, both for Android and IOS platforms
• Take responsibility for discussion, planning and implementation of new features
• Analyze requirements, create technical designs, and write high-quality code
• Be a vital part of our code review process
• Working with React Native mobile apps (iOS and Android) and React-based front-end in approximate ratio 70/30
• Recommend processes, services, software and other tools to support business objectives
• Identify and recommend application system solutions to business problems
• Be proactive, participate in the decision-making process, influence technology stack, take ownership of the end result
• Deliver great and consistent results being a part of a Scrum team
• Monitor and respond to app incidents

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in developing React Native applications
• 2+ years of experience with React
• Experience with: React Native, React Native Elements, React Native Animations, CircleCI, AppCenter, Redux, React Navigation, TypeScript, ECMAScript+, ES Imports, ES Async/Await
• Experience in iOS and Android React Native development and deployment
• Experience with MobX-State-Tree
• Knowledge of JS Core
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, SOLID
• Proficient understanding of git
• Working Agile (Scrum) experience
• Good communication skills
• Experience communicating and working directly with the client
• Good level of English, both written and spoken
